Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had lovely country views, but it was a bit uncomfortable during the heatwave. The rooms could have been more tastefully decorated, but overall, everything was good despite feeling stuffy. The service was friendly and helpful, though some areas needed cleaning. The location was handy for the main road and close to Lyme Regis, with a relaxed atmosphere. The dining experience was enjoyable with good quality food. The facilities were nicely furnished, but some areas needed attention. Value for money was decent.
The hotel offers a lovely view of the countryside and convenient Coaster bus service, with dining facilities that provide good food. The bar, lounge, snug, outdoor terrace, and swimming pool add to the charm. The proprietors and staff are helpful, although the room's price suddenly increased. Be prepared for some stairs to reach room 8.
The hotel is in a great location near Lyme Regis and Westbay, perfect for exploring the area. The rooms, albeit at the top of the house with lots of stairs, were comfortable and spacious enough for three teenagers. The service from the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even going the extra mile to prepare a sugar-free lemon drizzle for a special occasion. The dining experience was decent, with a highlight being the tasty kipper on the bone. The facilities could use more attention, especially the cleanliness of the pool shower and wet sun lounger pads.
